Welcome to Homan Therapies, the private practice of Laurie Petch, Practitioner and Educational Psychologist. I work across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

I help children and teenagers who struggle with their emotions, learning, or school life. Parents contact me when their child needs support. Schools reach out when a student requires specialist assessment.

What Homan Therapies offers:

My work focuses on understanding what each young person brings as strengths and needs. I assess learning difficulties, anxiety, behaviour challenges and school-related problems. Every assessment leads to practical recommendations that make a difference.

I work with families to create safe spaces where children can talk about what troubles them. Therapy sessions combine psychological skill with warmth and respect for each person’s experience.
